Armada

This book is in excellent condition, apparently unread.

Zack Lightman is a typical high school senior, counting down the days until graduation. However, his mundane life takes a turn when he spots a flying saucer outside his classroom window. At first, he thinks he's hallucinating, but soon realizes the UFO is real and eerily resembles the spacecraft from his favorite video game, *Armada*. In this game, players defend Earth from alien invaders, and now Zack discovers that the game was a training simulation for a real extraterrestrial threat. As he and other gamers worldwide are called upon to use their skills in a genuine battle for Earth's survival, Zack can't shake the feeling that this scenario is oddly familiar, as if pulled straight from the sci-fi stories he loves.
