This Sasquatch-sized book is in mostly good condition.  It has yellowed a bit but it doesn't affect the reading experience at all.  It weighs in at 1.25 kilos making it the heaviest book we have, I think. Overall, it's a keeper!

Embark on an epic journey through the turbulent early 20th century with "Fall of Giants," the first book in Ken Follett's renowned Century Trilogy. This sweeping historical novel weaves together the lives of five interrelated families from different corners of the globe—American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh—as they navigate the monumental events of World War I, the Russian Revolution, and the fight for women's suffrage.

Meet Billy Williams, a thirteen-year-old Welsh boy who begins his life in the coal mines; Gus Dewar, an American law student who finds a new path in Woodrow Wilson’s White House; and the Russian brothers Grigori and Lev Peshkov, whose lives diverge dramatically amidst the chaos of war and revolution. Their stories, along with the aristocratic Fitzherbert family and their entangled relationships, create a rich tapestry of love, ambition, and political intrigue.

Follett's masterful storytelling brings history to life, offering readers a compelling blend of personal drama and meticulously researched historical detail. From the trenches of the Western Front to the halls of power, "Fall of Giants" captures the heroism, tragedy, and transformation of an era.
