Note #1: This is a mostly good book which is in very good condition. It's been around a bit but it is solid and the pages look pretty good for their age (the book was printed in 2011).
But forget all that, we don't sell garbage, your book will be fine... No... focus on the content of the book...
Note #2: I used to work for Coca-Cola back when I lived in Minnesota in the USA. Gave them five years of my life and in return I got a bad back and a workers comp case. No matter, the real problem is that most managers at Coke are clueless, perhaps 80% or so. Bumbling, mostly harmless, fools. Think Klink and Schultz and you'll have a good idea of most Coke management. It's the big shots there you have to worry about. The only thing, and I mean the ONLY thing they care about is the numbers. They will do whatever it takes to hit them and to hell with anyone who gets in their way. That's what this book is about.

The Coke Machine probes shocking accusations about the company's global impact, including:
-> coca-cola's history of winning at any cost, even if it meant that its franchisees were making deals with the Nazis and Guatemalan paramilitary squads
-> the horrific environmental impact of coke bottling plants in India and Mexico that coke bottlers stand accused of conspiring with paramilitaries to threaten, kidnap, and murder union leaders in their bottling plants in Colombia
The Coke Machine is the first comprehensive probe of the company and its secret formula for greed
