This mostly good book gets extra points from me because it has an inscription inside:

Dearest Mel, We are thinking of you every day.  Love, Angela & Shannon.

So, sadly, Mel decided to get rid of this gift which was lovingly presented to him.  Or her, Mel could be a girl I suppose.  Anyway, I always hesitate a bit when I see an inscription like this because hey, you should never get rid of a book that someone gave you.  Ever.  Usually.
